Question 1

When is the next Rift in AION 2?

Accepted Answer

The next AION 2 Spacetime Rift depends on your selected server or region. Use the live Rift Timer above to see the exact countdown to the next opening, along with the Rift time in both your local timezone and server time. Rifts generally follow a repeating three-hour cycle, but schedules can vary by service or region. For Global servers, current schedules are based on observed in-game data and may be adjusted as new information becomes available.

Question 2

What time do Rifts open in AION 2?

Accepted Answer

AION 2 Spacetime Rifts open on a recurring schedule throughout the day. Select your server above to view today’s complete Rift schedule and the next opening time. Current game data shows Rift spawns following a three-hour cycle. However, the exact starting hour can differ depending on the server or region, so the timer above automatically uses the schedule configured for your selected server.

Question 3

How often do AION 2 Rifts spawn?

Accepted Answer

Spacetime Rifts generally spawn once every three hours, which means there can be up to eight Rift openings per day. The Rift Timer above automatically calculates the next opening and displays the upcoming schedule for your selected server.

Question 4

How long does a Spacetime Rift last?

Accepted Answer

A Spacetime Rift event lasts approximately 60 minutes after it begins. However, the portal used to enter the Rift is available for a much shorter period at the beginning of the event. Try to reach the Rift as soon as it opens rather than waiting until later in the one-hour event window.

Question 5

How long does the Rift portal stay open?

Accepted Answer

The Rift entry portal is generally available for about 10 minutes after the Spacetime Rift opens. Some trackers have reported shorter portal windows on certain services, so the exact duration may vary by server or future game updates. The timer above shows the portal window separately from the full Rift event duration whenever confirmed data is available.

Question 6

Where do Rifts spawn in AION 2?

Accepted Answer

Spacetime Rifts do not always appear at one fixed point. They can spawn at one of several possible locations within supported regions. Known Rift areas include Verteron and Eltnen for Elyos, and Altgard and Morheim for Asmodians. When a Rift appears, the game displays a server-wide message, and the active Rift can be tracked on the in-game map. Use the Rift Locations section above to view known possible spawn points for each region.

Question 7

Where are Elyos Rift locations?

Accepted Answer

Elyos Spacetime Rifts can appear in Verteron and Eltnen. In Verteron, current client data contains 15 possible Rift locations across Destroyed Abyss Gate, Forest of Exiles, and Southern Altamia Highland. In Eltnen, there are 10 possible locations across Eiron Hill and Fractured Land. Check the Rift map above to see the individual possible spawn points.

Question 8

Where are Asmodian Rift locations?

Accepted Answer

Asmodian Spacetime Rifts can appear in Altgard and Morheim. Altgard currently contains 15 possible Rift locations across Moslan Forest, Root of the Sacred Tree Entrance, and Basfelt Ruins. Morheim contains 10 possible locations across Nephra Snowfield and Iralcig Highland. Use the Rift Locations section above to view the known spawn points for each area.

Question 9

Does the Rift schedule change by server?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Rift schedules can differ between AION 2 services and regions, especially between Global, Korea, and Taiwan. The Rift Timer above uses the server you select and converts the schedule into your local timezone automatically. Global schedules should currently be treated as observed in-game schedules rather than permanently fixed official times, because community trackers have reported some differences.

Question 10

Why does my in-game Rift time differ from this timer?

Accepted Answer

The most common reasons are a different selected server, timezone conversion, daylight-saving changes, or a recent game schedule update. For Global servers in particular, current Rift times are based partly on player observations and client data rather than a final official schedule. If the timer differs from your game, always follow the in-game Rift countdown, map notification, or server announcement first.
